Harpers Ferry KOA is a great place from which to explore Civil War era battlefields, the sights and sounds of nearby Washington DC and plenty of scenic trails and paths while hiking or biking the Appalachian trail. The KOA amenities include a movie theater, indoor gym, picnic pavilion, pizzeria and an Olympic Size pool. What makes Harpers Ferry West Virginia popular is the Harpers Ferry National Park where interesting and educational museums and exhibits can be explored by visitors.
