|  Re: Canaan Valley hi there, Canaan Valley, Summersville as well as Snowshoe are perfect summer vacation spots. Summersville Lake enjoys busy West Virginia tourism in the summer and has great excellent scuba diving conditions too. Near Harpers Ferry there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy West Virginia rafting, areas such as Martinsburg where the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers are found running through.
