we'll be going to the Snake River Canyon for the first time and do some fishing primarily and other water activities. However, I was wondering what other activities would you suggest doing around the area?

Hi there,

A popular activity in Snake River Canyon is Snake River rafting.

If you are doing whitewater rafting or kayaking for the first time or simply want calmer waters, there is an access point to the river from Pritchard Creek to West Table Creek, where the waters are calmer.

Also, I wanted to add since you'll be fishing on your Wyoming river trips, remember to apply for your fishing license ahead of time, either online or by calling the Wyoming fish and game board. You'll need to provide proof of identity with a driver's license or some type of photo identification.
