Daytona Beach Hotel

Like many other Florida destinations, Daytona Beach vacation rentals can be tough to find during spring break, so plan ahead. You’ll also find that a typical Daytona Beach hotel will be booked well in advance of motorcycle or auto racing events like the Daytona 500. Still, if you plan ahead, rates in Daytona Beach among the most affordable in Florida, and there are hundreds of lodging options available. Here are a favorite few.


The Bahama House has 87 furnished efficiencies and guest rooms, each with a private balcony with ocean views, some with fully equipped kitchens. Guest amenities include an outdoor pool, a layered sundeck, continental breakfast, and a daily cocktail reception.


The Sunterra Daytona Beach Regency Resort is an all-suite beachfront resort. Suites feature separate living rooms, dining rooms, and full kitchens. Amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzis, game room, barbecue area, playground, exercise facilities, and laundry. The property allows parking for one car per suite. The resort is located near the boardwalk and Daytona International Speedway..


If you’re a race fan, some upper-floor rooms at the new Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach Airport overlook the track of the Daytona International Speedway. The hotel features a restaurant on site.


The modern 10-story Nautilus Inn has 90 large rooms with refrigerators, private balconies, and ocean views, some with fully equipped kitchens. Hotel amenities include outdoor pool, hot tub, and complimentary continental breakfast and evening cocktail reception.


On a traffic-free beach area a quarter mile from Adventure Landing and a half-mile from Main Street Pier, you’ll find the Art Deco style Ocean Walk Resort. Rooms here have refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and air conditioning. Amenities include putting greens, game room, fitness room, and a golf center. The hotel provides guests with gated beach access.


The $26 million adjoining towers of The Plaza Resort & Spa was remodeled in 2000, and feature some of the finest accommodations in Daytona Beach. Corner suites have two balconies overlooking the ocean, some with Jacuzzis. All rooms have balconies microwaves. The hotel features a heated outdoor pool, exercise room, water sports rentals, babysitting service, business center, and coin laundry. The Ocean Waters Spa features facials, massages, and wraps.


Daytona’s newest and most luxurious hotel, the Shores Resort & Spa recently underwent a $20 million renovation, with all new rooms, pool, lobby, restaurant, and spa. The tiled lobby features palm trees and a fountain. Rooms can be connected as suites, with a shared balcony. All rooms face the ocean or river. Amenities include a heated outdoor pool, exercise room, water sports rentals, babysitting service, game room, and coin laundry. The beautiful Baleen restaurant offers patio seafood dining. SpaTerre offers a full assortment of treatments.


The Villa Bed & Breakfast is a 1930s Spanish revival mansion featuring a great room with a fireplace, baby grand piano, and terra-cotta floors. Theme suites include the Christopher Columbus, King Carlos, Queen Isabella, and Marco Polo suites, each with features ranging from vaulted ceilings, rooftop decks, balconies, four-poster beds, custom showers, lacquered furnishings and oriental carpets. The hotel has a sunroom, formal dining room, breakfast nook, heated outdoor pool and a Jacuzzi.


One luxurious Daytona Beach condo is the new 150-unit Ocean Walk Resort, part of the Ocean Walk Village redevelopment near the Main Street Pier. One or two-bedroom units feature full kitchens, washers and dryers, an outdoor pool, and putting greens.
