Resembling apartments more than a traditional resort, it was one of the nicest Hana Hawaii hotels you can get, for a fairly reasonable value. Want a private ocean view? Every room has one. How about a romantic dinner? Many units come with a deck that leads right to the beach, where you can spend your days watching surfers challenging the waves, or even the occasional dolphin that pops his head up along Maui’s eastern coast.
For those looking to see Maui on the cheap, there are a number of small hotels and guesthouses along the outskirts of town. One of the most popular is the Hale O Pulelehua. Set apart from the normal tourist paths, its farmhouse location allows you a glimpse of the region’s unspoiled beauty. For another cheap alternative, Joe’s Place has a number of extremely inexpensive rooms available near the center of town. Though a far cry from the other luxurious Hana Hawaii Hotels nearby, but a popular destination for backpackers and budget travelers alike. Especially after the lengthy trip down the Hana highway, this Hana Maui Hawaii hotel is the perfect location for those who can’t quite make it all the way into town, or merely want to avoid the usual tourist traps in town.
