Take Exit number 36, Columbus Tryon. Turn onto Highway 108E, go 6 miles to Mill Spring, NC. Turn onto Highway 9N, go 11 miles and turn right on Hwy number 64 / 74-A East. Turn left onto Bill's Creek Rd. (State Road number 1008), go 2.5 mi. and turn left onto Buffalo Creek Rd.
From I-40, take the Marion/Sugarhill Exit #81. Turn south off exit ramp onto Sugar Hill Rd. (State Rd. #1001), go 4.5 mi. Turn right again and continue on Sugar Hill/Montford Cove Rd. Go 7 mi. and turn right onto Bill's Creek Rd.. (State Rd. #1008). After 7.5 mi., turn right onto Buffalo Creek Rd., then 1 mi. to the Registration Office located in the Fairfield Mountains Information Center on the left.
From I-85, take I-85S out of Charlotte to 74W at Kings Mt. Follow until the Forest City/Spindale exit. Take 74A west to Bill's Creek Rd. (approx. 17 mi.), turn right. Go approx. 2.5 mi. to Buffalo Creek Rd. Turn left on Buffalo Creek Rd. Welcome Center will be 1 mile to the left.
