A year-round resort since 1892 the Village of Woodstock has preserved its architectural and natural heritage with much of the Village included in a Historic District. Woodstock offers visitors convenience to world class hiking, skiing, biking, fishing, and golfing as well as playing host to some of America's premier outdoor events. Woodstock is also home to many area attractions including: The Billings Farm and Museum, Sugarbush Farms, The Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS), The Pentangle Council on the Arts, and the Green Mountain Horse Association. Located just down the road from Woodstock is the town of Quechee where visitors can enjoy glass blowing demonstrations at Simon Pierce, view the stunning Quechee Gorge, visit the Ottauquechee Valley Winery, or simply shop in the many antique stores.
