Cody Wyoming Accommodations

Cody Wyoming is named after the man himself, Col. William F. Buffalo Bill Cody. The town has been the center of Wild West action and entertainment ever since. Cody Wyoming accommodations are just as wide open and interesting as the man who this infamous town is named after.  Cody Wyoming is known for its connection to Buffalo Bill and the great outdoor attractions that can be enjoyed close to town, including camping.  Although there are not a plethora of hotels to choose from, the hotels that are available are focused on tourist travel and offer fun, pleasant accommodation.

At places like the infamous Irma Hotel, you can actually stay in the suite Buffalo Bill himself resided in. All rooms have modern bathrooms and air conditioning. The Irma Hotel serves prime rib and you can have a drink at the Buffalo Bill Bar or the Silver Saddle Lounge where you can see a show saddle that belonged to Buffalo Bill.

Another great Cody Wyoming lodging option is to rent a lodge. This is a great way to get to know the locals and fantastic way to bring a large family or a wedding party closer to nature. One of the better know Cody Wyoming accommodations lodges is the Cody Cowboy Village. This version of Cody Wyoming lodge offers a town-like atmosphere with many different level of lodging available. From the most basic versions of Cody Wyoming hotel to the most extravagant lodges and facilities, Cody Wyoming accommodations are really in season during the early summer so be sure to book in advance.

A Bed And Breakfast is an interesting option with many Bed and Breakfasts offering full cowboy styled breakfast one in particular is The Mayor's Inn located in downtown Cody, Wyoming. Built across a four-year span of time beginning in 1905, The Mayor's Inn Bed and Breakfast was often called the town's first true "mansion". This Inn offers a full gourmet breakfast, including fresh fruit, a selection of juice, coffee & tea, in the dining room at private tables.

The Econo Lodge is located in downtown historical Cody. This Cody Wyoming hotel is in the historical district. The hotel offers river raft pick up at the property. Rodeo and fishing are also nearby. The amenities include indoor pool and free continental breakfast. The hotel is set in log cabin style fashion to invoke the feeling of the Old West. Cody Wyoming lodging is just as exciting and unpredictable as Buffalo Bill himself.

To find Cody hotels in general and budget Cody hotels specifically, try searching through an online travel company or contact a local travel agent.  To find discounted hotel rooms on your favorite Cody hotels, consider planning your trip during the week rather than on the weekend.  Many hotels offer discounts for hotel stays during the week.  You can also try combining your Cody Wyoming hotel stay with other attractions to get a package deal.  Most specifically, hotel deals that combine Yellowstone National Park visits or nearby Snake River Canyon tours can be a great way to cut the cost of your vacation.
