the kind of hotel that he himself would want to stay in, and to
this end, the Wynn Hotel Los Vegas departs from the norm of what
you might expect from a 5 star hotel in Los Vegas to offer guests
a much more personalised experience that is truly memorable.
One of the top considerations when designing and opening the Wynn
Hotel Los Vegas was the entertainment that would be offered in the
hotel, and with this in mind, Wynn demanded that his hotel be constructed
with an absolutely state of the art theatre inside it where he could
stage the Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals. |

Another factor that was given great importance during the design
process for the Wynn Hotel Los Vegas was the overall style of the
property. Steve Wynn wanted to avoid the traditional feel of the
Los Vegas hotels, which are often criticised for their over elaborate
design and the over bearing atmosphere of forced opulence that they
seem to reflect. Instead of this, Wynn wanted his hotel in Los Vegas
to truly offer an escape from the world.
To this end, he opted for a simpler interior, where only the finest
materials were used in construction and finishing, and where although
the fittings are just as luxurious as you would see anywhere else,
they are much more understated, and give a more convivial atmosphere
to the hotel.
