World’s Tallest Hotel

The World’s Tallest Hotel list has recently been altered. Now claiming the top spot is the new JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. Spread between two towers, this gleaming luxury hotel rises 1,165 feet (355 meters) above Dubai’s Business Bay area. While the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is actually higher at 1,607 feet (490 meters), it is part of a multi-use building that is known as the International Commerce Center (ICC). The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is its own structure. You can find the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai along Sheikh Zayed Road. Coincidentally, Sheikh Zayed Road is also home to the Burj Khalifa. The tallest building in the world overall, the Burj Khalifa tops out at an impressive 2,719 feet (829 meters).

Dubai is certainly a city on the rise, and as is true in Las Vegas, the city’s general motto appears to be bigger is better. The new JW Marriott Marquis attests to this and is just one of many recent additions to the lofty Dubai skyline. Thanks to its overall size, the JW Marriott Marquis is able to offer extensive facilities. These facilities include top notch business and event facilities that promise to make the hotel one of the hottest new destinations in the Middle East. A fitness center, heated swimming pools, and a wonderful mix of nine restaurants and four bars are just some of the other facility highlights, and no discussion about the world’s tallest hotel would be complete without mentioning its sumptuous Saray Spa and Health Club.

Saray Spa

The world’s tallest hotel has little trouble accommodating travelers who like to be pampered. It is luxurious throughout and offers a wide range of services. Of considerable interest for the discerning traveler is the hotel’s sparkling spa and health club. Massages, body wraps, body scrubs, facials, and manicures are just some of the treatments that can be enjoyed at the Saray Spa and Health Club. Guests can also indulge in such things as fitness classes and special eye, hair, and scalp treatments. Separate men’s and women’s lounges figure among the spa’s general facilities, as do a steam room, a lap pool, and a spa restaurant. Although the hotel overlooks the waters of the Persian Gulf and the famous Palm Island, having an in-house spa is very convenient and in keeping with the pampering of the JW Marriott brand.

The JW Marriott brand is among the most renowned luxury hotel brands in the world. Each of the properties under this brand boast impressive guests units to go with their amazing facilities. It is no different at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. Chic and contemporary are two words that could be used to describe the decor in the JW Marriott Marquis’s 684 rooms and 120 suites. All the latest technology is on hand, with standard amenity examples including iPod stations, 46-inch LCD TVs, wireless internet, and DVD/Blue Ray players. Large working desks and high quality bath products are just some of the other standard amenity highlights, and room service is available around the clock. The guest unit categories at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai include standard guest rooms and executive rooms and suites that allow for admission to an exclusive Executive Lounge. There are also two Penthouse Suites that count spectacular city views among their numerous perks.
