Rogers Arena is the home of the Vancouver Canucks and a well-known indoor sporting and events venue throughout Canada. The arena seats around 19,000 people for hockey and 20,000 people for basketball. Major acts including the Eagles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Simon and Garfunkel, and Sheryl Crowe have all graced the stage at this popular venue in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. When NHL season is over, you can expect to see a regular schedule of awesome concerts and events at Rogers Arena. It is worth noting that this is the venue where a massive riot ensued when Axl Rose of the band Guns ‘n Roses did not show up for a concert on November 7, 2002.
