Victoria BC Spas

The Victoria BC spas are quite numerous, so visitors who wish to pamper themselves should have little trouble finding one. Most of the city's spas call the downtown area home, and they can either be hotel spas or stand alone establishments. Regardless of its affiliation, you can expect any given Victoria spa to be of considerable quality, and this has a lot to do with the competition that has been drummed up by the growing industry.
The best day spas in Victoria are luxurious and offer a wide range of treatments. Guests can indulge in massages, facials, and virtually anything else you can think of. Also, since many of the Victoria BC spas offer salon services, updating your look can also be possible. Many bridal parties take advantage of the area spas for the salon services alone when getting ready for a wedding, so brides who are planning a Victoria wedding might keep this in mind.
A number of spa resorts have sprung up in and around the city of Victoria, and some of the best are found near the waters of the Inner Harbour. The landmark Empress Hotel (pictured) is one such example. At this historic hotel, the upscale spa welcomes visitors every day of the year, and when you consider the ambiance and the treatment options, it's not hard to see why it ranks so high among the spas in all of Canada. The Spa Ritual treatment alone can get you in the right frame of mind. This ritual that all guests are welcome to enjoy involves spending five minutes in a sauna, five more in a steam room, and then ten minutes in a thermal mineral bath.
One of the other Victoria spa resorts that is responsible for turning the Inner Harbour into a spa lover's dream destination is the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe. At this upscale resort, the spa soothes with its tranquil interior, and guests can seek even further rejuvenation by indulging in body wraps, hydrotherapy treatments, and things the like. Also available are Botox treatments, make-up application, and a variety of other services that a spa visitor might be interested in.
The Hotel Grand Pacific also deserves mention among the downtown Victoria hotels with major spas. As for those who prefer staying outside of the city, Vancouver Island offers other upscale spa resorts that are found in the Victoria region. Two of the best are the Brentwood Bay Lodge and the Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa. Ample amenities and facilities await at all of these excellent resorts, so guests can stay busy any number of ways when they aren't spending time at the onsite spas.
The day spas in Victoria offer plenty of tantalizing packages that combine a variety of treatments. Also, if you are interested in staying at one of the Victoria spa resorts, chances are good that you will come across lodging packages that include some spa time. These kinds of packages are ideal for the Victoria visitor who is serious about getting pampered.
