The hotel is located in the historic district of Acapulco and is a nice alternative for those people who wish to avoid the majority of the tourist congestion, especially during the busiest times of the year in Acapulco, like Spring Break and the winter months in general. The hotel features a pier where you can dock or moor your craft. There are also fishing expeditions that leave from here as well as instruction for scuba and snorkeling. This is an ideal hotel for families and groups of friends who enjoy water activities and sports. The service is great and you can also enjoy amenities like a sprawling outdoor pool, beautifully appointed rooms, and a restaurant. The rooms offer furnished terraces and awesome views.
There are also a number of budget motels and some cheap hostels, but you don’t really need go this route to save money. Many of the cheap Acapulco hotels are simply older hotels. They are cheap compared to similar hotels in the US and should provide a viable option for people looking to enjoy Mexico on a budget.
