Cheap Acapulco Hotels

Cheap Acapulco hotels are not difficult to come by if you put a little bit of advance planning into your efforts. The currency exchange rate between the US dollar and the Mexican peso also favors travelers from north of the border. Some of the same major chain hotels offer prices that are comparatively much cheaper than what you would pay for the exact same place in the states. Some 5 million people visit Acapulco every single year, and many of them do so on a budget. As such, there is a vast selection of budget Acapulco accommodations from which to choose, and you do not have to shack up at a hostel or questionable motel in order to find a competitive rate. It is, in fact, quite possible to find nice hotels in Acapulco with good amenities without having to expend too much of your entire vacation budget.

There are, however, clean rooms with nice views and plenty of opportunities to enjoy Acapulco and the surrounding areas because of the prime location in the heart of the city’s Golden Zone.
The Casa Inn at Costera Miguel Alemán 2310 is another fine option for budget Acapulco accommodation that is centrally located near a host of the city’s attractions. It is located on La Costera, just a block from the beach at Costa Azul. There is a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby, and many of the hotel’s 330 rooms offer views of the ocean (be sure to request a view room in advance). There is a pool, restaurant, lounge, and 24-hour reception.
The Boca Chica Acapulco Hotel enjoys an excellent location on the ocean and also features swimming cove that is ideal for snorkeling and swimming. The hotel is located in the historic district of Acapulco and is a nice alternative for those people who wish to avoid the majority of the tourist congestion, especially during the busiest times of the year in Acapulco, like Spring Break and the winter months in general. The hotel features a pier where you can dock or moor your craft. There are also fishing expeditions that leave from here as well as instruction for scuba and snorkeling. This is an ideal hotel for families and groups of friends who enjoy water activities and sports. The service is great and you can also enjoy amenities like a sprawling outdoor pool, beautifully appointed rooms, and a restaurant. The rooms offer furnished terraces and awesome views.
There are also a number of budget motels and some cheap hostels, but you don’t really need go this route to save money. Many of the cheap Acapulco hotels are simply older hotels. They are cheap compared to similar hotels in the US and should provide a viable option for people looking to enjoy Mexico on a budget.
