The Gateway to the Sea of Cortez, this east coast town in the state of Baja California relies heavily on tourism and caters predominantly to U.S. travelers. Also found in the northern Baja Peninsula region, this friendly beach town is just a 20-minute drive south of Tijuana. Much of its fame is related to its past popularity with Hollywood film stars. Hundreds of hotel rooms and more than 20 resorts provide plenty in the way of Rosarito Baja lodging, and there is no shortage of things to do once you stash your bags in your room.
