Cabo San Lucas Airport Transportation

Once you’ve arrived at the Cabo San Lucas airport, there are a few different transportation options. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can rent a car in the arrivals hall (or arrange for a rental ahead of time to save money) and cruise down the Baja highway toward your hotel or resort. If you had a more relaxing vacation in mind, there is other Cabo San Lucas airport transportation as well. Depending on your budget, you can select the right option for you.

An airport shuttle in Cabo is a popular option, and for about 10 to 15 USD per person these vans will bring you to your hotel, with a few stops along the way. If you’re traveling in a larger group, the Los Cabos airport shuttle could be a great option, as it may only stop once or twice to drop off the remaining passengers. Visitors traveling in couples or small groups may find the airport shuttle in Cabo frustrating, especially if the hotel you’ve reserved happens to be the furthest from the airport and the last stop.

Travelers with a bit more money to spend and a desire to get to the sandy beaches of Cabo San Lucas as quick as possible may choose to take a taxi. The price for this service is approximately 75 dollars for four passengers. If you’re traveling with a group of more than four travelers, you can expect to pay for each additional person in the taxi. This choice of Cabo San Lucas airport transportation is popular because it is fast, efficient, and the taxi drivers commonly accept American dollars.

For a real splurge, private limos can be hired as well, capable of taking up to six passengers to their hotel for a price of about 100 dollars, typically including a drink per person. However, the half-hour drive from the airport to the beach resorts is most commonly covered with the affordable Los Cabos airport shuttle. Frequent service, friendly drivers, and a great price all make it a tempting option to hold on to your money for other pleasures during your Mexican vacation.
