The Grand Oasis Cancun sits of the Cancun Hotel Zone, a narrow strip of land surrounded by a lagoon and the Caribbean Sea. The large 736-room hotel stands out among the Cancun resorts on the strip, as it is shaped like a Mayan pyramid. There are many things to do at the hotel, such as golfing, enjoying the pool, or dancing the night away in the disco.
The rooms of the Grand Oasis Hotel Cancun are decorated with bright Caribbean colors and feature balconies. Some of the rooms have ocean or lagoon views, while others look out to the garden. Some of the amenities include marble bathrooms, TVs, phones, and air conditioning.
Amenities that are included in the nightly price of the Grand Oasis Cancun room include daily snacks and meals, alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, items from your room’s mini bar, 24-hour-a-day room service, and a twenty-dollar credit at one of the many restaurants outside of the hotel. The only things that aren’t included are lobster dinners and wine by the bottle.
The nightly room price also includes several water activities, including sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, and paddle boating. Parasailing, fishing, and jet skiing are offered at an additional price.
Guests of Grand Oasis Cancun can also take advantage of
complimentary access to land activities, including basketball,
tennis, soccer, and beach volleyball, and golfing at the
hotel’s par-3, nine-hole golf course. Although fees
for the greens are included in the nightly price of the
room, there is a fee for renting golf equipment.
If the weather is keeping you indoors, there are several
complimentary classes available to guests. Guests of Grand
Oasis Hotel Cancun can learn how to cook or make cocktails,
or take aerobics or dance classes.
The rate of the room at Grand Oasis Cancun All Inclusive also includes food and drinks at the fifteen lounges, seventeen restaurants, and three swim-up bars. Most of the restaurants have a relaxed dress code, but a few require pants and collared shirts. Some of the restaurants feature live entertainment. A favorite of guests at Grand Oasis Hotel Cancun all inclusive is the Sarape Grill, a casual open air Tex-Mex restaurant that features live Mexican music. There is also an onsite disco and several theme parties every week that feature music, dancing, and performances.
When you aren’t relaxing at the hotel, be sure to explore the nearby attractions that are important to the history of Mexico. Within walking distance of the hotel is the El Rey archaeological site, the largest Mayan archaeological site in Cancun believed to be a King’s tomb. Archaeologists estimate that the site was built in 300 A.D. The Tulum archaeological ruins, another important site, are 65 miles away and can be accessed by rental car.
Guests staying at the Grand Oasis Cancun All Inclusive have complimentary access to the facilities at area partner hotels for the day, including Oasis Cancun, Grand Oasis Playa, Oasis Palm Beach, and the Grand Oasis Caribbean Resort. Just inform the front desk of the day that you plan to visit the partner hotel.
The Grand Oasis Cancun All Inclusive is a perfect place to take a family vacation. With over a dozen restaurants to choose from as well as beach and sports activities, the Grand Oasis Cancun offers something for every member of the family.
