Located on a long stretch of beach in the southern part of Cancun, the Royal Solaris Cancun is an all-inclusive resort located a little over a mile from Cancun attractions such as the El Rey ruins and the Wet n' Wild Water Park. Room rates at Royal Solaris Resort include unlimited food and drinks at five bars and eight restaurants, as well as nightly entertainment and daily activities.
The 500 air conditioned rooms of Royal Solaris in Cancun offer views of the lagoon, resort gardens, or the ocean. Some of the rooms feature terraces or balconies. All of the rooms at Royal Solaris in Cancun have plush bedding, CD players, desks, and satellite TVs. The décor of the rooms is bright and upbeat to reflect the Caribbean setting. Royal Solaris Resort is located right on the beach and it also has four pools. Complimentary water sport activities guests can participate in include snorkeling, water polo, and scuba diving demonstrations. There is also a tennis court, ping pong tables, a mini golf course, and a large fitness center. There are always things to do at Royal Solaris in Cancun, even if the weather is bad. Guests can take dance classes, exercise classes, and Spanish classes free of charge any day of the week. A kid's club offers supervised activities for kids ranging in age from 4 years to 10 years until 1 p.m. and offers separate activities for older children from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. The complimentary kid's club includes access to a kid's pool, a play center, art lessons, puppet making, and face painting.
There are several different options for dining and entertainment at the hotel. The Royal Solaris Resort offers entertainment, such as musicals, Gala nights, and Retro parties, almost every night of the week. The street that the hotel is located on, Kukulcan Boulevardis the main artery of Cancun and is filled with bars and nightclubs.
The Royal Solaris in Cancun has several restaurants to choose from. The most popular restaurant for breakfast is Las Fuentes, a two-level Mexican restaurant that overlooks the sea. The main highlight of Las Fuentes are its breakfast and dinner buffets. Veneto is an Italian restaurant that serves homemade pasta for dinner. Marco Polo features dinner dishes from the Oaxaca region of Mexico. Veneto and Marco Polo both enforce a dress code outlawing shorts, T-shirts, or sandals.
