Cozumel Hotels

Cozumel Mexico is one of the most sought-after destinations. With the second largest coral reef in the world, travelers staying in Cozumel hotels are often looking to scuba dive. Cozumel Mexico has plenty to offer above and beyond diving, however. The pristine beaches, warm ocean water and convenient access to jungle tours are just some of the reasons that Cozumel Mexico is consistently ranked in the top five of the world's most popular vacation spots. Cozumel hotels and Cozumel resorts range in price from moderate to luxury and most are near the beach. Although the city has many places to stay, below is a collection of some of the more popular Cozumel hotels and Cozumel resorts, as well as some alternative accommodation options.

Cozumel Resorts

Given the growing popularity of Cozumel Mexico, the city has a number of excellent resorts. All-inclusive Cozumel resorts, which include meals with the cost of the hotel, are becoming more common. Often times all-inclusive Cozumel resorts will also offer a discount on some of the most sought-after Cozumel activities. This can be a great option for travelers who plan to scuba dive, fish, or take a boat tour of any kind.

Cozumel Hotels and Hostels

In addition to an array of Cozumel resorts, there are also a number of cozy Cozumel hotels. Many of the less expensive Cozumel hotels are located downtown. Although these Cozumel hotels have fewer amenities then the larger Cozumel resorts, Cozumel hotels offer clean, comfortable accommodation with access to all that Cozumel has to offer.

Another popular choice for travelers wishing to save money is a hostel. Hostels are often comprised of shared sleeping areas, as well as a shared kitchen for cooking and a common bathroom. For tourists who plan to spend little or no time at their accommodation location, hostels are a wonderful way to travel inexpensively.

Bed and Breakfasts

A few cozy Bed and Breakfasts are can also be found in Cozumel Mexico. For travelers who want their Cozumel vacations to have a homey feel, coming back to a Bed and Breakfast after a long day of shopping and swimming can be relaxing. Breakfast is of course included in the cost of a room and a Bed and Breakfast is often a wonderful way to meet other travelers taking Cozumel vacations.

Cozumel vacations can be full of jungle tours, scuba diving adventures, boating trips, body boarding and many other exhilarating activities. Finding the right place to stay can create the perfect backdrop for Cozumel vacations. Note that Cozumel's busiest season is usually from December to April, so prices will be highest during these months. Booking Cozumel vacations well in advance is a great way to assure that you'll get a good rate. If your travel plans are flexible, many travel agencies will also post last minute promotional specials in an attempt to fill up seats on empty planes, so keep an eye out for these deals as well.
