Casa de Leyendas Carnival Room is one of six guestrooms at the bed and breakfast inn in the heart of historic Mazatlan. This historic home, which once was used to store gold bullion in former days, has retained much of its delightful charm. If you’re looking for a place to stay with all of the luxury of Mazatlan hotels but also a distinctive character and an intimate feel, then it’s hard to go wrong with the Carnival Room at the Casa de Leyendas Bed and Breakfast.
All six of the guestrooms at Casa de Leyendas share the same list of amenities, but each is distinctive. Like the Peralta Room, the Carnival features a long list of perks and the comforts of home, including air conditioning and a coffeemaker. The room, which rents for a surprisingly pleasant price, also has purified water and a hairdryer. The in-room safe will keep your valuables secure, while the mini fridge will keep your leftovers from Macaws restaurant nice and cold. High-speed wireless internet connections are available in the room and throughout the inn, and the phone in the lobby is also complimentary to use.
This spacious room on the second floor also has a king-size bed with Egyptian cotton linens and a pillow-top mattress. It’s just a few steps away from the en-suite bathroom, with brightly colored tile and a distinctive scroll-edged mirror. The Casa de Leyendas Carnival Room also has a comfortable sofa and a writing desk, arranged near the vanity and its seat. The doors open directly to the wrap-around terrace, where you can enjoy the views of the pool and inn’s courtyard.
All guests are invited for breakfast, of course, which is served on the terrace on in the room. You’ll enjoy a rich spread of muffins and fresh fruit, along with warm beverages, hot entrees and orange juice. Guests who have dietary restrictions can make arrangements for meals to suit. The staff is also happy to accommodate guests who want to get out and explore. They’re eager to make arrangements and suggestions for things to do in and around Mazatlan and its beaches.
