Riu Emerald Bay Pool

The Riu Emerald Bay pool is more than a place to take a swim. It’s a place to relax, soak in the sun, and have some fun in the water. Located steps away from Playa Las Brujas and the blue waters of the Pacific, the Riu Mazatlan pool is a tropical hideaway itself. Lush gardens and towering palm trees surround the free-form pools and hot tub.

Looking very much as expected for tropical resorts, the pool at the Riu Emerald Bay is even more amazing than expected. The water is as blue as the sky, and the soft breezes feel at once exhilarating and relaxing. The weather is warm throughout the year, so there’s never a bad time to go and spend some time in the sun.

Just steps away from the guestrooms and the Riu beach, the sprawling Riu Mazatlan pool complex is a favorite of guests. But with plenty of room to stretch out, it never feels crowded. There are plenty of deck chairs for the choosing and plenty of water for swimming under the warm Pacific sun.

As one of the all-inclusive resorts, Riu Emerald Bay offers a host of activities all included in the package price. Guests can play a round of beach volleyball or join a workout if they wish—or listen to the live music that takes place poolside after the sun has set. The calendar of events also includes kids’ games for the younger visitors. There’s also full access to the sauna and whirlpool, along with table tennis and the fitness center.

The all-inclusive package also includes the equipment needed to head out to the Riu beach for kayaking and body boarding. Catamaran rides are another favorite included in the package. For those who want to add on some water sports or golf, they can arrange to do so for additional fee. Everything else is included, even drinks from the poolside bar.
