Villas San Sebastian

The Villas San Sebastian, also known as de san Sebastian Villa in Spanish, is located on La Ropa Beach in Zihuatanejo, sister city to nearby Ixtapa. Situated on a hill rising above the relaxed beach town of Zihuatanejo, the Villas San Sebastian overlooks the entire ocean bay, as well as the village below. Rooms have excellent views of the Mexican Pacific during the day and, of course, at sunset. Luis Valle, the owner of the Villas San Sebastian, is a long time resident of Zihuatanejo, and is often on hand to personally answer questions and address needs.

The Villas San Sebastian is comprised of eleven units. Guests can choose from one or two bedroom villas of varying prices. Prices will be higher during the winter months, particularly between December and April, as these are the country's busiest travel months, and the most expensive time of the year to travel Mexico. Although most of the units are designed to accommodate couples or small families, one villa is available which sleeps up to six people.

Each villa also has a kitchenette and a spacious private terrace, and, while all units do have ceiling fans, as with many Mexico hotels only some units have air conditioning. Units surround a centrally located swimming pool, allowing guests to access the pool area conveniently from their room.

Many Mexico vacation packages include airfare and pre-booked activities along with accommodation at Mexico hotels. Mexico vacation packages are a great way to take advantage of special deals, or lower rates offered by companies who encourage travelers to book all of their travel with them. At the Villas San Sebastian, guests may schedule activities independently, or as part of Mexico vacation packages.

Many of the more popular activities in and around Zihuatanejo include renting a car for sightseeing, shopping in nearby Ixtapa or taking part in a number of active beach pursuits. Scuba diving, snorkeling and boat cruises, may all be booked from the convenience of the Villas San Sebastian front desk.

Eating out in Zihuatanejo is generally quite convenient. Both Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa feature a number of excellent restaurants, none of which will be more then a twenty-minute taxi ride from the Villas San Sebastian. Ixtapa eateries tend to be high end, with many of the more popular restaurants located in the resorts that line the beach. Cuisine in Zihuatanejo is more traditional and guests will find an excellent array of moderately priced, delicious options for dinner.

The Villas San Sebastian is the perfect vacation spot for couples and families looking for a somewhat private retreat, without sacrificing creature comforts. The welcoming blend of homey service and clean, airy rooms will create a lasting memory.
