One of the top attractions in Jonesboro is the Arkansas State Museum, which many believe to be among the top museums in the country's Mid-South region. The Arkansas State Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and between the hours of 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. On Mondays it takes a break and it is also closed on university holidays.
