Disneyland Hotels

The Disneyland hotels include three great lodging options right in the theme park area. These include the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, which is the largest and most luxurious of the bunch, and complementing this wonderful hotel are the Disneyland Hotel and the Paradise Pier Hotel. All of these hotels qualify as Downtown Disneyland accommodations, as they are found in and around the Downtown Disneyland District. Also close by are the resort's theme parks, and this only lends to the popularity of the Disneyland hotels. Interestingly enough, anyone who is interested in California Adventure hotels might find that the private guest entrance at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa makes it the top pick.

If you can't manage to secure Downtown Disneyland accommodations or you just want to add to your lodging options, you can consider the more than 40 Good Neighbor Hotels that are found close by. These hotels range from relatively upscale establishments that offer resort amenities to cheap hotels that are easy on the wallet. Among the more upscale Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels are the Anaheim Marriott Hotel and the Hilton Anaheim. In the mid-price category, reliable hotels such as the Best Western Anaheim Inn provide good lodging options, while budget hotels such as the Jolly Roger Hotel cater to those who really want to save on rates. Complementing the cheap hotels near Disneyland are discount motels like the Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate, so finding something to fit your budget shouldn't be difficult.

Most of the Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels are just a short walk or shuttle ride from the resort. Should you stay at one that is farther away, however, it might provide shuttle service to and from Disneyland. You might also be able to hop on an Anaheim Resort Transit trolley to travel back and forth. Renting a car and driving to the resort from your Good Neighbor hotel is also possible. Disneyland parking is available in good supply, and you might be interested to know that you can park for free at Downtown Disneyland for up to three hours. Five hours if you get validation from one of the participating shops or restaurants.

When searching for hotels near Disneyland, many travelers limit themselves to the Anaheim hotels, and for good reason. In addition to being close to the resort, the Anaheim hotels are well-priced on the whole. Many of the Anaheim hotels double as Good Neighbor Hotels, and they include a good number of all-suite hotels that can be ideal for families or other small groups. Among the best all-suite hotels in Anaheim is the Doubletree Guest Suites Anaheim Resort. If you don't need an extra-spacious suite, relatively affordable Anaheim hotels like the Park Vue Inn and the Candy Cane Inn (pictured) can be good places to stay. The Anaheim lodging choices are extensive, in which case you are encouraged to weigh the options when looking for your Disneyland travel base.

You certainly don't have to limit yourself to the hotels in Anaheim when trying to find a good base near Disneyland. The general region is full of fantastic places to stay. Los Angeles isn't far away, for example, and coastal communities such as Huntington Beach also provide numerous lodging options. You also don't have to limit yourself to hotels when trying to find a good place to stay near Disneyland. The options for Disneyland vacation rentals include both homes and condos that are just a hop, skip, and a jump from the resort boundaries.

Regardless of what you have in mind for your Disneyland lodging, keeping an eye out for special deals can often pay off. There is a lot of competition between the Good Neighbor Hotels, so many offer deals from time to time to lure guests in. You can also try to get a deal by booking your hotel as part of a Disneyland vacation package, and visiting during a non-peak period can also be a good way to save. Summer, the Christmas season, and Spring Break are among the busiest times, so you might avoid them when trying to plan a cheap Disneyland escape.
