Disneyland Luxury Hotels

Disneyland luxury hotels aren't exactly abundant in number. The resort itself offers only three hotels, and while they are all inviting, only one truly qualifies as a luxury establishment. That being said, there are some good upscale hotels close by in surrounding Anaheim. If you can't find your fit there, then you can always expand your horizons and search for a luxury hotel in a nearby city. Los Angeles isn't very far off, for example, and it offers plenty of luxury hotels for discerning travelers to take advantage of.

Between the three hotels at Disneyland Resort, the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is the most luxurious. This AAA Four Diamond hotel is both stylish and sophisticated, and you can hardly argue with the guestroom options. If one of the standard rooms doesn't prove sufficient enough, prospective Grand Californian guests can attempt to secure a suite or villa. The villas are the most alluring, partly because of the fact that they offer full kitchens and private laundry facilities. A luxury spa and a fantastic fine dining restaurant figure among the facilities at the Grand Californian, and the location is excellent. You can find it in the heart of Downtown Disney at 1600 South Disneyland Drive.

The other two Disneyland hotels might not be as luxurious as the Grand Californian, but are worth considering. Both offer enticing guest units and inviting facilities. They also offer proximity to all the great Disneyland attractions. These other two Disney hotels are the Disneyland Hotel and the Paradise Pier Hotel. If you don't have your heart set on staying at one of these Disneyland hotels, there are some good luxury hotels in Anaheim that deserve a look.

There aren't any five star Anaheim accommodations to choose from, but that doesn't mean that you can't find some good upscale hotels in and around town. Among the best upscale hotels in Anaheim is the Hilton Anaheim, especially if you are interested in Disneyland resorts. It offers plenty of resort amenities to go with its comfortable and well-equipped guest units. Among these amenities and facilities are four restaurants, a pair of lounges, an outdoor pool, a small collection of gift shops, and a complete health club. The hotel is located at 777 Convention Way, and there 1,571 guest units to select from.

Anaheim isn't the only Orange County city that you will want to consider when trying to add to your list of Disneyland luxury hotels. Nearby Garden Grove boasts the comfortable Hyatt Regency, for example. A $25 million remodel has this hotel at 11999 Harbor Boulevard looking and feeling better than ever, and it's just minutes to Disneyland. Flat-screen TVs and pillow-top mattresses are among the in-room amenity highlights, while the facilities include two heated pools, tennis courts, and a fantastic restaurant.

If you don't mind being a little removed from Disneyland Resort, you can expand your luxury lodging limits ever further. Staying within Orange County, the seaside city of Dana Point is a good place to start your search. Two of the best luxury hotels in all of Southern California are found at Dana Point, and they include the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel and the St. Regis Monarch.

Heading outside of Orange County, Los Angeles offers a slew of luxury hotels that will have you within proximity of Disneyland. One of the best is the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, which is exclusively situated at 300 South Doheny Drive. French doors that lead out to a balcony, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, a spacious armoire, and a marble bath are among the standard in-room amenities at the Four Seasons LA. As for the facilities, they include an exclusive spa, two alluring restaurants, and a glamorous outdoor pool and patio area.
