Disneyland Resorts

Disneyland resorts include both the resort hotels that can be found at Disneyland and those that can be found in close proximity. Whether you wish to stay right in the theme park or in nearby cities such as Anaheim or Los Angeles, there are resorts and resort hotels for you to choose from.

Those found within the theme park boundaries are the main Disneyland hotels, and they include the truly grand Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa (pictured). This deluxe resort at 1600 South Disneyland Drive offers a most satisfying array of facilities, and as far as the guest units are concerned, you can book a room, a suite, or a villa that is akin to a vacation rental. A collection of attractive swimming pools and a world-class spa figure among the Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa facilities, and even if you don't stay overnight, eating at one of the onsite restaurants is recommended.

Should you be interested in booking a stay at one of the Disney resort hotels, the Disneyland Hotel is also not to be overlooked. Found within the Disneyland boundaries at 1150 Magic Way, this iconic hotel offers many resort amenities, and the special children's programs can help keep the younger members of your group entertained. A pool area that covers 5,000 square feet is among the facility highlights at the Disneyland Hotel, and the state-of-the-art fitness center surely deserves a nod. An elegant steakhouse and a casual restaurant that features character dining opportunities only add to the allure of this wonderful hotel, and as far as the 988 guest units are concerned, they are both comfortable and nicely equipped.

The third hotel that can be found within the Disneyland boundaries is the Paradise Pier Hotel. Much like its sister hotels, this Disneyland hotel offers various facilities that you would expect to find at a resort hotel, and the California boardwalk theme will have you feeling like you're at the beach. A rooftop pool with a whimsical water slide is among the highlights, and families who are in need of added space should find favor with the large Family Suites.

If you can't manage to get a room at one of the Disneyland resort hotels, there are area resorts that can serve as good replacements. Many of the area hotels are Disney Good Neighbor Hotels, which essentially means that they offer considerable quality and proximity to everything that Disneyland has to offer. One of the best is the Crowne Plaza Anaheim Resort. Found at 12021 Harbor Boulevard in Garden Grove, this relatively affordable hotel features an outdoor pool and patio area, a hot tub, a fitness room, a restaurant, a lounge, and a game room. There are 384 total guest units, and the available amenities include everything that you should need to enjoy a pleasant stay. Additional amenities, such as in-room movies, can be enjoyed for a fee if you want to upgrade.

Other hotels with resort-like amenities that you might add to your list of Disney resorts are the Hilton Anaheim and the Anaheim Marriott Hotel. Both fall into the superior category and offer a full range of facilities and services. You'll also be glad to know that they are also less than a mile from Disneyland. If you can't quite swing the rates at these amenity-filled hotels or you simply wish to spend less, there are plenty of more affordable lodging establishments in the area that offer well-outfitted rooms and tempting facilities. Regardless of your lodging needs, finding a good place to stay near Disneyland won't be difficult, and to make things easier, you can book your accommodations as part of a vacation package that includes other aspects of your trip.
