The names of the wine regions are the Alexander Valley, the Russian River Valley, and the Dry Creek Valley. Among the varietals that these regions are best known for are Zinfandels, Chardonnays, and Pinot Noirs. That being said, Healdsburg and the surrounding area offer wine styles for every palate. Generally, when taking Healdsburg wine tours, it is recommended that you stick to just one region per day and visit about four to six wineries per tour. When you’re not visiting the area wineries, you can treat yourself to wine tasting experiences at the more than 20 tasting rooms that are found in downtown Healdsburg.
