Hollywood Luxury Hotels

The Hollywood hotels present a decent range of options to fit most any budget, and as far as location goes, Hollywood is an ideal base for visitors to Los Angeles.  With so many great attractions close by, Hollywood lodging is great for tourists, and the area clubs, bars and restaurants make it an exciting area for Los Angeles nightlife.  Los Angeles is a big city, and it can wear you out with its vast array of things to do.  When you want to rejuvenate your soul after a long day, or you simply find comfortable elegance to be the ideal compliment to your Los Angeles vacation, you can choose to stay at one of the luxury hotels in Hollywood.  Hollywood luxury hotels feature all the modern trappings you could want, and for a few ideas, you might consider one of the following.

Dubbed with, “A Magnificent Design”, by The New York Times, the Mondrian is a great luxury Hollywood lodging option that will be a welcome retreat in the heart of West Hollywood.  Not only is its design noteworthy, but its Asia de Cuba restaurant is highly acclaimed, and its Skybar nightclub is sizzling.  Found at 8440 Sunset Blvd., the Mondrian mixes luxury with a sense of the outdoors, a perfect example being its immaculate indoor/outdoor lobby.  All of the spacious rooms feature fully-equipped kitchens, large bathrooms and stocked work desks.  You can choose from standard rooms, studios and suites, and most units boast floor-to-ceiling windows with Los Angeles city views.  The in-room amenities are aplenty in this candidate for Hollywood luxury hotels, with plush, down comforters, signature bath products, WebTV, room service and so much more.  You can opt for a rejuvenating treatment at the Mondrian’s Agua Spa, or enjoy one in your room, and if you are looking for a good workout, you can request a private physical trainer.  The hotel pool is certainly stunning, and guests can enjoy hours of hanging out either poolside on the teak deck, or in the beautiful Outdoor “Living Room”.

The award-winning Hollywood Hotel is aptly named, and it is another excellent choice for luxury hotels in Hollywood.  The Hollywood Hotel is located at 1160 N Vermont Ave., and close to such attractions as the Walk of Fame and the famous Hollywood sign.  If you don’t feel like driving around Los Angeles, you can catch the nearby Subway link and leave the car in the parking lot.  The guest rooms here are well-appointed, and for those looking for extra, there are 6 available suites to choose from.  Every morning, guests can enjoy a hot, buffet-style breakfast, and for added convenience, each room features both a microwave and a refrigerator.  WebTV and cable television are also standard, as are complimentary toiletries, and so much more.  Some of the rooms have balconies, and you can ask for a crib or rollaway bed if you should need one.  If you have your laptop in tow, you can take advantage of free internet access, and should you fancy a cup of coffee or tea, you will find a coffeemaker in each room.  For a fine dining experience, you might check out the Hollywood Hotel’s Valentino’s dining room, and the lower-level 1160 Bar and Lounge is a great place to hang out.  The Hollywood Hotel also offers a new pool and garden area, as well as 5,000 square feet of meeting space that can also be used for banquets.

At 900 Hammond Street, the LeMontrose Suite Hotel is an excellent boutique-style choice for those seeking luxury hotels in Hollywood.  If privacy and comfort are what you have in mind, you will appreciate this hotel’s quite setting.  Though, don’t let the quite fool you, because you are still just steps away from all the action.  Should you wander out on foot, you will find plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment nearby, and the LeMontrose concierge can help you plan any trips further away from the hotel.  Celebrities are known to stay here from time to time, and a recent multi-million dollar renovation has helped to cement the LeMontrose Suite Hotel’s among the top Hollywood luxury hotels.  All the units here are suites, as the name implies, and each is comfortable and sophisticated all at once.  The decor of each room will likely appease you, with attention to detail at every turn.  Signature bedding and lush carpeting are just some of the special touches, and when it comes to amenities, the list is long.  Rooms here feature sofas and fireplaces, complimentary robes and slippers, high-speed internet access, game consoles, stocked minibars, refrigerators, and all the common amenities like coffemakers and hair dryers.  Guests can enjoy the private hotel dining room and lounge, and top-notch shopping can be enjoyed in nearby Beverly Hills.  Also to be taken advantage of are in-room massages, the onsite tennis court and the heated, rooftop pool.

Somewhat of a dubious choice for luxury hotels in Hollywood, the Chateau Marmont has been a famous Hollywood fixture for decades.  Hollywood stars with the biggest names are among the past guests here, and some of their exploits are historically noted.  Modeled after a French countryside castle, the Chateau Marmont looks like something you might see at Disneyland in nearby Anaheim.  For those on romantic getaways, perhaps a night or more in a private bungalow here will prove ideal.  Found atop a hill and shrouded in dense foliage, this hotel surely provides a secluded feeling, and its overall design is surely intriguing.  A funky edge characterizes this most unique choice for Hollywood luxury hotels, and it’s hard to sum up its landmark importance.  Boasting upscale service, beautiful grounds and clean accommodations, it’s hard to find fault with the place.  For those who are coming for the full Hollywood experience, the Chateau Marmont can prove to be a highlight of the trip.  You can choose from a more standard room, to a cottage or bungalow, most of which feature formal dining rooms, and private patios.  Guests can take advantage of 24-hour concierge and room service, and the hotel’s CD library has hundreds of selections to set the perfect mood.  You can expect a full range of amenities, such as DVD players, large televisions, free wireless internet, in-room safes and luxurious bedding.  For a pleasurable dining experience after a long day, the Chateau Marmont’s Bar Marmont is certainly worthy.
