Monterey Plaza Hotel

The Monterey Plaza Hotel enjoys a central location along scenic Monterey Bay. Parts of the hotel are actually built over the bay waters. The specific address is 400 Cannery Row, which means that the hotel can be found near some of Monterey’s most popular attractions. When guests of the Monterey Plaza aren’t out enjoying these attractions and those in the nearby communities of Monterey County and beyond, they can take advantage of the hotel’s ample facilities and welcoming in-room amenities. Among the facilities of note are two tempting restaurants and a state-of-the-art spa that ranks high among the country’s very best spas.

Double or king beds come standard, as do luxurious bathrooms with Italian marble. Other amenities that accentuate the appeal of the Monterey Plaza rooms and suites include flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi and wired internet access, individual temperature control, plush robes, and Gilchrist and Soames bath products. Some rooms have balconies, and there are suites with other additional perks. The Spa Terrace Suite boasts two jetted tubs, for example, and the most exclusive Presidential Suite counts an outdoor stereo system among its many fine amenities.

The Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa doesn’t have a swimming pool. However, it does feature an outdoor sun deck with two hot tubs. Part of the award-winning Vista Blue Spa, this rooftop retreat comes complete with a fireplace and is a fine place for light dining after a rejuvenating spa treatment. Worth noting are the wonderful views of Monterey Bay that can be enjoyed on the rooftop sun deck. The backdrop certainly lends to the allure of a soak in the hot tubs. All areas of the Vista Blue Spa, including the spa deck and the fitness center, are adult-only facilities.
