Napa Valley Resorts

Napa Valley Resorts
California Beach Resorts | California Golf Resorts | Monterey Resorts | Napa Resorts | Palm Springs Resorts

Undoubtedly one of the most picturesque regions of the country, California’s Napa Valley is a haven for wine enthusiasts. Some of the finest wines in all the world are produced in the lush Napa Valley, and there are no shortage of champion wineries to visit. Romantic getaways are among the top reasons for visiting Napa Valley, but you can also enjoy a Napa Valley golf resort, or enjoy a list of other activities. With both San Francisco and Sacramento within a couple hours drive, Napa Valley day trips are a popular pursuit with those residing in the city. But, if you want more than just a day to explore all that Napa has to offer, and this is highly recommended, you might choose to book a stay at one of the Napa hotels or at one of the following Napa Valley Resorts.

A Napa Valley luxury resort is always an option, but if you are tight on funds or hate to spend too much on a room, you might choose one of the lower-priced resorts in Napa. Enter Dr. Wilkinson's Hot Springs Resort, which is found at 1507 Lincoln Avenue, in the heart of Calistoga. All of the rooms here have been recently renovated, and they tend to be a cut above most other Napa rooms in the same price range. They are all uniquely-decorated, and the larger ones feature kitchens with refrigerators. Each unit offers amenities like cable TV, a coffee maker, air-conditioning, dataports and a hair dryer. Free wireless internet access can be found in the hotel’s lobby. You can take a soak in one of three mineral pools here, and the resort’s spa offers treatments tailored for both men and women. Rounding out this excellent choice for discount Napa resorts are two outdoor pools and an indoor jet pool.

For those whose interest in staying at a Napa Valley luxury resort needs to be quenched, the newer Calistoga Ranch is an excellent choice among the Napa resorts. The Calistoga Ranch enjoys a scenic and private canyon location at 580 Lommel Road, just outside of Calistoga. Boasting immaculate grounds, just wandering about here is a joy unto itself. It goes without saying that a Napa Valley luxury resort should have a wonderful, full-service spa, and the Calistoga Ranch certainly does. You should also expect a fine restaurant to figure among the facilities, and again this resort delivers with an eatery that provides splendid views of Lake Lommel. A large outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, 24-hour room service, a health gym and a very competent concierge help to make this one of the top resorts in Napa, and when it comes to accommodations, you will be hard-pressed to find any better. Every amenity you could want is offered in the resort’s 46 luxurious guest houses, from fireplaces to DVD and CD players. Cable TV, high-speed internet access, complimentary bath products and a mini-bar are some of the other in-room amenities that you can expect.

For those interested in staying at a Napa Valley golf resort, the Silverado might be a first consideration. Found at 1600 Atlas Peak Road, it’s also a good choice for those interested in finding a well-priced Napa Valley luxury resort. Wine-tasting, rounds of challenging golf, spa treatments and relaxation are among the top pursuits for Silverado Resort guests, and if you like tennis, this resort is also a good consideration for you. There are 280 rooms to choose from here, and the standard options are a bit small, but extremely nice for the price. You might check out other room options for extra space. Each room is well-decorated and offers a range of amenities, such as satellite TV, a balcony, a fireplace, a DVD player, a microwave, a mini-bar, a kitchen or kitchenette and all the basics, like a coffee maker and a hair dryer. There is a small fee for internet access. When you find yourself with down time, relaxing by the heated, outdoor pool is always an option, and you can always arrange for a spa treatment, or fit a workout in at the resort’s fitness center. Also, the resort’s main restaurant is known to serve up some savory dishes.

Another great choice for an affordable Napa Valley luxury resort is the Marriott Hotel and Spa, which is both modern and rustic all at once. Located at 3425 Solano Avenue in Napa, you are in the heart of wine country here. Those seeking a Napa Valley golf resort might not find this offering to be ideal, but if you are interested in spa resorts in Napa, then you can hardly go wrong. The resort’s Amadeus Spa offers an array of treatments to keep you feeling your best, and some of the resort’s special packages feature a nice spa experience. A heated outdoor pool makes for an idyllic scene, and the adjacent whirlpool provides soothing relief for tired muscles. A complimentary daily wine-tasting session helps to carry the Napa wine theme, and room service makes staying in a delight. If stress has been getting the best of you, a vigorous workout at the full fitness center should prove helpful, and the resort’s two main restaurants offer a mix of ambience and casual enjoyment, depending on which you choose. A night in one of the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa rooms is likely enough to make you consider staying longer, as each room has been pleasantly redesigned. Business travelers will appreciate the nice in-room work desks, the dataports and the high-speed internet access. All guests will relish in plush beds with pillowtop mattresses, large flat-screen televisions, a complimentary daily newspaper, a hair dryer and iron and ironing board. Free morning coffee and a continental breakfast will help you start the day off right.
