The Inn of the Sun has undergone a complete renovation, including a new chef and new amenities. The blend of sophistication and elegance of Auberge du Soleil has now been modernized. Since 1985, the Auberge Resort Napa has delivered an informal elegance to visitors of Napa.

The Auberge du Soleil restaurant opened its doors in 1981 to fulfill the dream of San Francisco restaurateur Claude Rouas. He wanted to create a tribute to his beloved Provence, France, in the heart of Napa. His locally sourced cuisine had a distinct French influence and was an instant hit with both locals and tourists. The resort followed after the success of the restaurant, opening in 1985. When the Auberge resort Napa opened, a European influence was immediately felt as well. Critics compared the secluded location, elegance of design, and focus on cuisine to great European hotels.

Today this legend continues at the modern Auberge du Soleil restaurant. For more than twenty years this restaurant has provided a fine culinary destination to people exploring the Napa Valley. This package is available only to guests of the resort, though the restaurant itself is open to all.

After an intimate dinner, continue the indulgence over the course of your stay with the spa. A 7,000-square-foot stucco building is home to the spa of the Auberge resort, overlooking the Napa Valley.
