Maisonry Tasting Flights

A rotating collection of wines is featured during Maisonry wine tastings. The historic setting of one of the three private tasting rooms, or outdoor facilities, provide a setting that is unique compared to other wine tastings in Napa. Maisonry tasting flights are just one element of an entire aesthetic experience. Art, furnishings, manicured gardens, a fire-pit, and a distinct blend of old and new all contribute to the experience of tasting wine at Maisonry. Ranging from $15 to $35 per person, Maisonry tasting flights feature boutique and limited edition wines from members of their wine collective. Combinations of wines from Blackbird Vineyards, Brown Estate, Lail Vineyards, Husic Vineyards, Renteria Wines, Pedras Wine Company, and Tor Kenward Family Wines are available.

Some flights at Maisonry wine tastings are centered on a theme, such as a Bordeaux-inspired flight. Many guests come to Maisonry not only to taste new wines, but as research on new wines to acquire for their private collection. While this takes place at many wine tastings in Napa, Maisonry has made the selection of vineyards and wines to feature in their historical setting, and has taken some of the guess work out of purchasing wine for many of its guests. Maisonry is open in Yountville seven days a week, and from Thursday through Saturday the collective stays open until 10 pm for guests to enjoy their wine well into the evening. Appointments are recommended, especially if you have a specific location in mind for your tasting.

Neither one of us has ever been to Napa but it is something my wife has always wanted to do. I would love to surprise her with a romantic trip for...
