The Pacific Grove California golf course is actually two nine-hole courses. The first nine of these California golf courses were opened in 1932. They were designed by the former U.S. Amateur champion Chandler Egan. However, these first nine holes meander through the edge of the Del Monte Forest, and their lovely, old English rural style makes up for their quirkiness.
