Escena Golf Course

Escena Golf Course is located just to the east of the Palm Springs airport. Some of the holes actually play to or alongside the runway, and when you stop to relax with a cool drink in the sleek 1950s-style Escena Golf Club House, you have views of flights landing and taking off. It also sits at the foot of the majestic San Juan Mountains, and these provide more sweeping views along with the waving palm trees, desert landscapes, and soothing water features. The Club House contains 16,000 square feet, and has facilities to cater weddings and other special events. An expansive patio outside of the dining area boasts an open pit fireplaces for those after golf evenings when the desert air becomes chilly.

The 18-hole Escena Golf Course is a Nicklaus Design course, and when it opened in 2005 it was the first public course built within the city limits of Palm Springs in twenty years. Like the Indian Spring Golf Course further south in the town of Indio, it is one of the few places in the slightly ritzy Coachella Valley where you can play golf for under $100. There are numerous hotels and resorts within a mile, but the Escena Golf Club partners with the luxurious Riviera Resort and Spa. This property is located in the heart of all the Palm Springs action, and offers vacation packages and last minute deals for Escena golf games. You can also purchase spa packages and family packages, or a combination of all three.
