Hyatt Grand Champions Resort

Hyatt Grand Champions Resort is one of many upscale hotels in Palm Springs that deserves a look when looking to go the luxury route. Occupying a 45-acre expanse that is lusher than what you might expect in the desert, this hotel is able to offer an excellent array of amenities for its guests to enjoy. For starters, the Hyatt Regency Golf Resort Palm Springs features two divine golf courses. In fact, Golf Week magazine ranked these courses highly as some of the best golf courses in California. Seven dazzling swimming pools also figure among the fantastic facilities, and should you want to fully indulge in the poolside experience, you can rent a state-of-the-art cabana and help yourself to some cool drinks at the poolside bar.

Unlike some of the other upscale hotels in Palm Springs, the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort offers a children's pool. As such, adults who truly want to relax while swimming or sunbathing don't have to share the same environment as a bunch of lively children. In fact, one of the seven pools is only for adults. When you're not swimming in the pools or relaxing on a lounge chaise, you might enjoy a soothing dip in the guest hot tubs. A soak in the hot tubs can be especially rewarding should you have tired muscles from golfing, shopping, hiking, or any other number of fun activities that can be enjoyed in the area. As a side note, there is a resort fee that must be paid if you want to enjoy the pools and the majority of the other facilities.

Unfortunately, the resort fee at the Hyatt Regency Golf Resort Palm Springs doesn't include rounds of golf or spa treatments. That being said, these things are worth paying extra for. As is true of the two 18-hole golf courses, the spa at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort is of considerable quality. You can enjoy a full range of treatments at the Agua Serena Spa between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 8 p.m., while the fitness center portion is available to all resort guests around the clock. Salon services complement the spa treatments at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort spa, and special packages that mix treatments are available.

Playing some tennis, arranging a horseback riding adventure, renting a car for area side trips, and trying your hand at croquet are just some of the other options for things to do at the Hyatt Regency Golf Resort Palm Springs, and when you get hungry, some wonderful dining options await. The main restaurant features a wood-burning oven for pizzas and mesquite grills for grilling up savory meats, and should you prefer, you can get sandwiches, salads, and a variety of snacks at the café restaurant. A deli/café complements these two dining establishments, and you can enjoy light fare at the lobby lounge.

Whether you are planning a Palm Springs-area wedding, a business meeting, or another kind of special event, the Hyatt Grand Regency Golf Resort Palm Springs offers a variety of meeting and event venues. It also offers some very enticing guest units for any and all event guests to consider. The guest unit options at this luxurious hotel are numerous and range from a more standard double to an extra spacious two-bedroom villa. The decor in all of the guest units is both elegant and contemporary, while the standard amenity highlights include a flat screen TV, an iPod docking station, high-speed Internet access (fee), luxury spa products in the marble-laden bathroom, and a large work desk. Mini bars, coffee makers, safes that you can fit a laptop in, and a pair of soft bathrobes are just some of the other perks that all of the guest units provide. Butler service and private whirlpool tubs are just some of the added perks that the villas have to offer.
