La Quinta California

La Quinta California offers plenty for the visitor to enjoy. This includes lots of sunshine and some spectacular golf courses. Found approximately 20 miles southeast of Palm Springs in the Coachella Valley, La Quinta averages nearly 350 days of sunshine every year, to be more exact. This, in turn, lends to the quality of the golf, as do the area’s year-round warm climate and the picturesque backdrop of the Santa Rosa Mountains. If you aren’t a golfer, there are plenty of other ways to stay busy during a La Quinta California escape. Joshua Tree National Park isn’t very far away, for example, and shoppers can find bliss in nearby Palm Springs and Palm Desert. If you need any more reasons to visit, the region is a great spa destination and a fun place to go hiking and mountain biking. Also, when the sun eventually sets over the Coachella Valley, nightlife enthusiasts can explore the area’s bar and club scene.

Already home to the challenging Arnold Palmer Classic Course, the SilverRock Resort plans on adding more golf holes, a retail village, and hotels to its portfolio. A few other hotels, some with resort-like amenities, are found in La Quinta California, and the region boasts a healthy collection of resort hotels in general.
