Rancho Las Palmas Resort

Rancho Las Palmas Resort is in the community of Rancho Mirage, about halfway between Palm Springs and the community of Indio. It is surrounded by many other golf courses and country clubs that are strung all the way from Palm Desert to Palm Springs and from Indio to the Salton Sea. This area is called the Country Club Row, and you have a choice of numerous golf venues here. The resort itself offers hotel-style rooms and suites as well as condo rentals and vacations homes—most alongside the Rancho Las Palmas Golf Course fairways and greens.

In addition to golfing, the premier sport in the Coachella Valley and certainly one of the most popular things to do, the Rancho Las Palmas Resort boasts a two-acre water park called Splashtopia, with water slides, a 425-fool lazy river, a sandy beach for castle building, water play zones with sprinklers and fountains, and a huge swimming pool. Children must be at least 42 inches in height to use the water slides, and there is an adults-only tranquility pool for those who want to relax away from the children. The resort also has a full-service spa, a boutique, and several dining options.

The Rancho Las Palmas Golf Course has 27 holes laid out in three groups of nine. It is a Ted Robinson design, with six lakes and the legendary Robinson bunkers. Breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains make a wonderful counterpoint to the waving palm trees, green fairways, and sparkling water features. You can book vacation packages that include the spa, golf, family deals, and special events like weddings.
