La Jolla Shores Beach is one San Diego’s favorite beaches, located within in the exclusive neighborhood of La Jolla, California. It features one mile of soft, clean sand nestled between the sea cliffs of La Jolla Cove and the shores of Black Beach. La Jolla Shores offers the only boat launch in the city, making it a popular spot for kayakers.

The beach is also located next to Kellogg Park, which offers areas of grass and a playground. Other park amenities at La Jolla Shores include BBQ grills and fire pits for picnics. There is a large parking lot adjacent to the beach and a clean public bathroom. Volleyball courts are also available for use.
