Many of the hotels near Legoland offer vacation packages that save you money and hassle. All you have to do is come to Carlsbad and start having fun.
Legoland Hotel in California
When Legoland California opened in 1999, it made an immediate splash. The first Legoland resort outside of Europe had to wait more than a decade for the official Legoland California hotel to open. Officially called the California Legoland Resort, the property was eagerly anticipated. Carrying on the same fun atmosphere as the theme park, Legoland’s first U.S. hotel (also pictured above) features 250 guestrooms. Each one of the rooms at the coolest of California hotels fits a theme, either adventure, kingdom, or pirates. Then, the room has two different sleeping areas, a room with a queen bed for the adults and a bedroom for the kids with a trundle bed and a set of bunk beds. The hotel also features playgrounds and a heated pool, along with a gift of Legos for each kid who stays at the resort.
With only 250 rooms at the official resort, there’s not enough space for every family visiting Legoland California. Luckily, there are several hotels near Legoland available for overnight stays. Many of the Carlsbad hotels overlook the Pacific Ocean, complete with relaxation spas perfect for relaxing after a day at the park. The city between San Diego and Los Angeles is also home to several hotels with family names offering both suites and traditional hotel rooms.
