The Delaware beach rentals are in good supply, and there
seems little reason to believe that more won’t continue
to be offered in the near future. This is good news for
those who are planning a Delaware beach trip and looking
for a nice vacation rental to call their own for a bit.
There are a handful of Delaware beach towns that offer
visitors an array of fun things to do, and many times,
when you stay at one of the Delaware beach vacation rentals,
you’ll enjoy your vacation that much more. This
is because vacation rentals are usually more like staying
at a home away from home. For families with kids, the
extra space and convenience that they generally offer
is certainly a bonus. Adults looking for added privacy
and flexibility will want to at least consider staying
at one of the Delaware beach rentals. Many times, they
can be priced quite nice, sometimes costing less than
a stay at one of the Delaware
beach hotels.
Starting at the top and heading south, the first main Delaware beach town is Lewes. In Lewes, you are situated nicely, as here, the great Atlantic Ocean meets the humble, but proud Delaware Bay. The nearby Cape Henlopen State Park is a wonderful place to get in touch with nature, and walking tours reveal quite a bit about this historic town. You will find a good array of Delaware beach rentals here, including condos and houses. You can rent a pretty expansive house here with its own pool if you desire, though a 3 bedroom condo might also be a fine fit. It all comes down to your needs and your budget. As is true with all the Delaware beach house rentals and apartment rentals, the rates will vary according to amenities and location. That isn’t too hard to understand. Sometimes, if you speak directly with the owner of the vacation rental instead of a managing agent, you can end up paying less in the end, so that is something you might consider. Just like the Delaware beach houses, the vacation rentals here go fast in the summer, so be sure to secure your rental as soon as possible. Also, keep in mind that many, if not most Delaware beach rentals require a minimum stay of a certain amount of days.
Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach are the next two major Delaware beach towns found to the south of Lewes. Rehoboth Beach might just have the biggest amount of Delaware beach house rentals to offer, after Bethany Beach, as well as a number of townhomes and condos. Rehoboth Beach is a haven for shoppers, offering nice shops and the famed outlet stores found on Route 1. The Delaware beach house rentals found here can sleep anywhere from 1 to 30 people, so you might be able to imagine the possibilities. The larger beach houses can get a bit pricey, but you might be surprised at how affordable some of the great rental properties here can be. Nearby Dewey Beach, which is a summer weekend nightlife destination, offers less than Rehoboth Beach does in the way of Delaware beach rentals, but you can still find a good selection to choose from.
As mentioned above, Bethany Beach is where you will
find the widest range of Delaware beach vacation rentals.
The list of condos, townhouses and houses is long, so
you should certainly be able to find the best fit with
little issue. The Sea Colony Oceanfront and Sea Colony
Tennis resorts near Bethany Beach are full of Delaware
beach rentals that not only afford guests extra space
and comfort, but also resort community amenities. The
Sea Colony Tennis Resort is perfect for those who love
to play. You can work on your game with a teacher, or
work on it against an actual opponent. Guests staying
at one of these resort community vacation rentals can
use amenities such as the community pools, and the resorts’
concierges can help you plan anything from a great round
of Delaware golf, to the
perfect dining experience for your group. Fenwick
Island, which is south of Bethany Beach and resting
on the Delaware-Maryland
border, has more than a handful of great Delaware beach
house rentals, and you’ll also be able to choose
a condo or townhouse as well. There isn’t much nightlife
in Fenwick Island, but Ocean
City, Maryland offers plenty, and it’s just
a few miles away. The best thing about staying in one
of the Delaware beach rentals is the fact that other beachtowns
are so close by. It’s easy to arrange day trips
to one of the other Delaware
beaches, and there are a few wonderful State Parks
found on this immediate part of the coast.
