Apollo Beach can be a good place to base yourself when visiting the Tampa area. Among the small city’s main allure is its relatively unhurried pace. Basically, it can be a relaxing place to return to after a day spent enjoying the busier area cities of Tampa and St. Petersburg. Perhaps dining on a restaurant dock as the sun sets will be your preferred way to usher in the evening hours while in town.
Apollo beach, Florida
Approximately 14,000 people call the waterfront community of Apollo Beach home. Among other things, these residents enjoy year-round boating and fishing. Other water activities can also be included in the mix, and should a break from such activities be in order, there are shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars to take advantage of. Being that this is Florida, several golf courses are also within easy reach. An example would be the course at the Apollo Beach Golf Club. This course has four sets of tees and can play between 5,047 and 7,036 yards. Just be sure to pack your bag with a sufficient number of balls if you want to tee it up at the Apollo Beach Golf Club. There is water on all 18 holes. In addition to an inviting course, the Apollo Beach Golf Club features practice facilities, a pro shop, and a snack bar. Lessons are available.
Some vacation rental properties can be found in Apollo Beach. As for hotels and motels, there are several to the south and southeast in the Ruskin area. Among these hotels is the Resort and Club at Little Harbor. Well-equipped rooms, suites, and condos figure among the accommodations at the Resort and Club at Little Harbor, and there are plenty of facilities and services to enjoy on the side.
