Indian Rocks Beach

Indian Rocks Beach is a small coastal city that can be found south of Clearwater Beach on Sand Key. You could hardly ask for a better destination than Indian Rocks Beach if you want to soak up some sun for a while. The entire Clearwater-Tampa area gets more than its fair share of sunny days every year, and the beaches here are among the best in the entire country.

If you're looking to do some shopping during your Clearwater area vacation, Indian Rocks Beach might not be the first destination that you think of. There are some convenience stores in town, not to mention some gift stores, so you can do some shopping here if you please. An Indian Rocks Beach vacation is usually all about hanging out at the beach, but that doesn't mean that there won't be plenty of other things to do on the side. Fishing and boating are just two options when it comes to things to do in Indian Rocks Beach, and the general region is prime for side trips of all kinds. Maybe you'll visit nearby St Petersburg to check out the Salvadore Dali Museum, or perhaps you'll venture into nearby Clearwater to see a show at Ruth Eckerd Hall.
