Clearwater Resorts

There might not be tons of Clearwater resorts to choose from, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a lot in the way of variety. For those who are interested in luxury hotels, some of the resorts in Clearwater are among the most upscale hotels in the land. Should you be traveling on a budget, a mid-price or discount resort stay might be in order. As one might imagine, the Clearwater Beach resorts are among the most popular resorts in the Tampa area, as they offer ideal beach access. The Clearwater Florida resorts can fill up fast, especially during peak travel times such as Spring Break, so you'll want to book your stay in advance if you can. Once you have secured your room, you can start getting ready for a vacation that promises lots of fun in the warm Florida sun.
Sandpearl Resort

Of all the Clearwater Beach Resorts, none is more luxurious than the Sandpearl Resort, which is among the newest hotels in the area. The luxurious Sandpearl Resort enjoys an excellent beachfront location in Clearwater Beach, and its list of available amenities is a long one. If the rates at the Sandpearl Resort are higher than what you want to pay, you might look to the nearby Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort, which sits on ten beachfront acres in Clearwater Beach. Guests at the Hilton Clearwater can enjoy full food and beverage service while relaxing on the sand. You're but a short walk from Pier 60 when staying at the Hilton Clearwater Beach, and the marina is close by as well, so there will be plenty to do during your stay. All of the 416 guest rooms and suites were recently renovated, and most feature private balconies. While not overly luxurious, the guest units here are tasteful, comfortable, and well-equipped.

The Sandpearl Resort and the Hilton Clearwater are two Clearwater beach resorts that you will want to keep in mind, especially if you're looking to enjoy some good amenities. Both of these top rated Clearwater resorts feature restaurants and nightlife options, which adds to their overall attractiveness. Speaking of nightlife, those who like to stay out once the sun goes down might prefer the Shepard's Beach Resort. You can enjoy live music on a daily basis between 2 and 11 p.m. at the Shepard's Beach Resort's main bar, and its signature restaurant features a seafood buffet that seafood lovers are likely to find favor with. You can also dance the night away in the night club at Shepard's, and plenty of fun beach activities can be enjoyed during the daylight hours. The rooms at Shepard's might not be overly spacious, but they are tastefully decorated and offer a good list of amenities.

Some of the rooms at the resorts in Clearwater feature kitchens or kitchenettes, as is the case with some of the rooms at the Shepard's Beach Resort. Being able to prepare some food and drinks in the comfort of your room is a nice perk, especially when you don't feel like heading out to an area bar or restaurant. The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites is one of the Clearwater beach resorts that features rooms with kitchenettes, and it's also one of the better mid-price resorts in the land. Like the Hilton, the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites offers a relative amount of luxury at a good price. It also boasts a fine beachfront location of its own. Recent renovations to the rooms and suites here have done well to make them enticing, and you'll have a private balcony at your disposal, which is always a plus. Outside of the rooms, guests at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites can enjoy the heated outdoor pool, catch some rays on the pool deck, hang out at the restaurant and bar, or kick back at the coffee house. Other facilities include a salon, a children's pool, and a game room. As a side note, should the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites be more expensive than what you have in mind, cheaper resorts like the Clearwater Beachview Resort should meet your needs.
Sand Key Hotels

While the resorts in Clearwater offer enough in the way of variety on their own, you can always check out Sand Key if you are looking for other resort options. Near the renowned Sand Key Park is where you will find the Sheraton Sand Key Resort and the Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites on Sand Key. Both of these resorts can be excellent for family vacations, thanks to their relatively quiet settings, and it's always nice to have Sand Key Park close by. The Marriott is more upscale than the Sheraton, so you can choose accordingly when trying to find your ideal accommodations. In addition to looking on the northern side of Sand Key, those who want to add to their list of choices for Clearwater resorts can also think about staying in St Pete Beach. Resorts like the Don CeSar and the Tradewinds help to make St Pete Beach one of the best places to enjoy a Clearwater area resort vacation.
