Hotels on Marco Island

The hotels on Marco Island can make for excellent vacation bases. This is especially true for travelers who wish to treat themselves to some quality beach time on their next escape. Beach season is pretty much a year round thing on Marco Island, and there are a number of local lodging establishments that sit along the bright sands of beautiful Crescent Beach.

The Marco Island hotels aren’t overflowing in number, though visitors should find that there is enough in the way of variety. At least one motel provides good rooms at a good price, and there are a couple of enticing inns to select from. Marco Island beach resorts are also available, and it should be mentioned that many of the local hotels offer condo units to go with their rooms and/or suites. The main hotel strip on the island is South Collier Boulevard, and as far as rates are concerned, they are at their highest during the peak mid-December to mid-April season.

There are several Marco Island beach resorts to choose from. One of the best is the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort Golf Club and Spa (pictured above). Also one of the largest hotels on the island, this resort at 400 South Collier Boulevard offers no less than 732 guest units, and each of these units is both tasteful and well-equipped. Multiple restaurants, a small collection of bars, a full-service spa, and a championship golf course are among the facility highlights, and guests should find that the activities desk can come in handy for planning such things as Everglades tours.

They can also walk to nearby shops and restaurants, and there are plenty of other area activity options. As for the Club Regency guest units, they come in the form of condo-style rooms that include such delights as a fully-equipped kitchen, cable TV, and a screened balcony.
