Surfside Beach Miami

Surfside Beach in Florida is located along the eastern coast of the state, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean in the town of Surfside. The beach is a mile long and runs parallel to the oceanfront residential community along Collins Avenue. Surfside Beach Miami is filled with the sugar-white sand that makes Florida beaches so famous, along with cool and inviting turquoise waters.

Visitors to Surfside Beach in Florida will find that it is convenient to nearby golfing at  Indian Creek Country Club and at numerous resorts, renovated art deco Miami beach hotels, condos, and vacation rental homes, making Surfside a popular vacation destination. The area is quiet and filled with vintage homes from the 1940s and 50s. Along with people-watching and swimming, other activities on Surfside Beach Miami include beach volleyball and, like on nearby Lummus Beach, topless sunbathing.

Features of the beach include concession stands, picnic tables, restrooms and shower facilities, beach umbrellas, and chair rentals. Surfside Beach Miami provides lifeguards and beach patrol for your safety. There are plenty of dining options, with numerous restaurants and cafes in the area, and other beaches are nearby, including Bal Harbour Beach and Haulover Beach. Surfside Beach in Florida is open daily. Parking is limited in the immediate beach area, but visitors may find metered parking along Collins Avenue.
