North Palm Beach Florida
North Palm Beach Florida incorporated as a village in 1956, earning an award in the process from the National Association of Home Builders as the year’s best planned community. These days, the rather upscale Florida enclave in Palm Beach County is well known for its local golf club, which boasts a links-style course. This course was redesigned by village resident, Jack Nicklaus, and is one of only two Nicklaus Signature Municipal courses in the United States. Various other recreational facilities combine with a number of parks to increase the activity-based opportunities in North Palm Beach, and there are plenty of great area beaches to enjoy. Just across the Intracoastal Waterway is John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, where nearly two miles of pristine sand await. Other activities at the park include nature trail hiking, boating, bird watching, fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, and scuba diving.
