Though it is a good deal smaller than Orlando International, it nonetheless serves the needs of a growing number of national and international airline carriers. There are a handful of car rental companies with desks at the airport itself and a few others that are just a short shuttle ride away. You can also hop on a shuttle here if you are in need of transportation to your hotel. Just eighteen miles from Orlando, Sanford International Airport offers excellent facilities and easy access to Orlando-area highways and attractions, so it’s certainly worth considering when looking into Orlando airports. Rounding out the list of Orlando airports is the Orlando Executive Airport, which is just three miles from downtown. Ideal for corporate travelers, the Orlando Executive Airport also serves to relieve a bit of the air traffic between the other two Orlando airports. 

As mentioned, Orlando is a popular tourist destination throughout the year, so if you are looking for cheap Orlando tickets, there aren’t too many down periods to choose from. For all intents and purposes, Orlando is at its busiest during summer and winter school breaks, as families find these times to be most ideal for Orlando family getaways.
