Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is based around an equestrian theme and also exhibits Victorian-era elements, sitting on the banks of Disney’s Village Lake. One of the greatest features of the resort are the Treehouse Villas, octagonal-shaped villas set amid a super-lush backdrop of dense trees, offering ultimately private villas for up to nine people. Much like Disney’s Port Orleans and Old Key West resorts, Disney Saratoga Springs Resort captures the feel of an historic era of a specific North American location, in this case Saratoga Springs in the later nineteenth century. The retreat was a New York favorite celebrated for horse racing and lavish spas. The Saratoga Spa is continuously ranked as one of the best resort spas in America. Saratoga Springs Resort grasps the atmosphere perfectly within the 65-acre grounds where serene lakes, meandering hills, and bubbling fountains are dominating facets.

There are six distinct areas within the resort that villas are located in. These include The Paddock, The Carousel, Congress Park, The Grandstand, and The Springs. There’s nothing to miss from home when choosing villas for Disney vacations. With full, onsite laundry facilities, complete kitchens, terraces, and plenty of Victorian accents throughout, villas are especially convenient and ideal for up to twelve people in a Three Bedroom Grand. One- and two-bedroom villas for four and eight people are additional options along with Treehouse Villas for nine. Two Bedroom Lock-off Villas are also available, configured with an adjoining Deluxe Studio and One Bedroom Villa. Though often called isolated, the resort is placed well near Epcot Center. It is the grounds that are massive, creating the need for guests to use inter-resort transportation to get between one end and another.

The main High Rock Spring Pool at Disney Saratoga Springs Resort is expertly designed, taking on a shape independent of traditionally styled pools. Large rock escarpments and stone walls are tucked into a design including a huge pool deck filled with lounging options, a water slide, and a waterfall feature. It is located near the reception and lobby area. There are also two hot tubs and a kid’s water play area within the design. Three separate, smaller pools are part of The Paddock, The Grandstand, and Congress Park resort areas. There are plenty more recreational pursuits as well—horseback riding, golfing, and special Disney cruises.

Golfers enjoy dining with a fairway view and look over the lush course greens. The panorama goes perfectly with casual fare like burgers and fresh seafood specials. The golf course lounge overlooks the west side of Downtown Disney and Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. A popular option is grilling meals at the BBQ Pavilion, where picnic tables and barbeques are provided in smaller pavilions along with bbq utensils. This section is set near the three smaller swimming pools.
