Panama City Florida is perhaps the most popular vacation destination on the Florida Panhandle. This is due in large part to the miles of pristine, white sandy beaches where people flock to enjoy everything from surfing and swimming to jet skiing and boogie boarding. Panama City FL is located between Tallahassee and Pensacola. Other popular vacation hotspots like Fort Walton Beach are not far up the coast along Route 98. There are a wide variety of Panama City attractions, including entertainment and amusement for the kids, nightlife and great dining for the adults, and many beach activities.

Panama City Florida is often associated with partying, but it is actually a place where the entire family can enjoy a vacation together. The action starts at the beach where you will discover endless amounts of fun. It is always nice to be able to rinse the sand from your body before diving into the refreshing pool back at the hotel.

Fishing is another favorite pastime in Panama City. People enjoy everything from shore fishing to deep sea fishing expeditions. Take out your own craft or charter one with a knowledgeable captain who knows exactly where to locate the prime catches. Half- and full-day trips are available that allow you to explore these rich Gulf Waters off of the Florida Panhandle.

If golf is your area of interest, you certainly will not be disappointed with the range of options at your disposal. Get in a round at a championship course before heading over to the beach or out on the town to take in some of the world famous Panama City nightlife. The clubs have become notorious because of out-of-control spring break students, but other times of the year are not nearly as crazy. There are a huge number of dance clubs that feature all manners of music, as well as bars, cafes, and restaurants to suit just about everyone’s tastes.

You will have no trouble finding shopping aplenty in this city as well. The Grand Panama Beach Resort offers a stirring mix of eclectic boutiques and shops, as well as a variety of places to enjoy gastronomic delights. Pier Park is a fantastic place to take the entire family for some fun, casual dining and entertainment. There are many places that offer great food, family-friendly entertainment, and memorable views of the ocean.

There are also plenty of guest accommodations in Panama City Florida. Whether you seek luxury hotels, beach resorts, or budget motels, you should have no trouble finding a place that suits both your budget and desired experience.
