Today, it boasts a five-story inverted pyramid design. While the St Petersburg Pier has changed its appearance on numerous occasions, it has never changed its identity as a popular local amenity. Community dances are held here, as are weekly festivals that include live music, and fishing off the various fishing catwalks has long been popular. One of the best museums in St Petersburg, the Dali Museum is sure to please.

When you need a break from shopping, you can wander over to the main food court or drop by the separate bar and grill, both of which can also found in the first level. In addition to some good restaurants, the Pier in St Petersburg also boasts a handful of inviting bars, so you can add it to your list of destinations when looking to enjoy some St Petersburg nightlife. You can also add it to your list of destinations if you are interested in enjoying some time on the water.

If you are interested in doing some boating at the Pier in St Petersburg, there is an array of options to consider. Kayaks are available for rent if you want to get a workout while you sightsee, and small electric boats are also available if you prefer to limit your dependence on manpower. Enjoying a dolphin tour is among the most popular things to do at the Pier at St Petersburg, and private boating charters are available for a range of special events. You can even get married on a floating chapel at the St Petersburg Pier, which is something that you might consider when planning a St Petersburg wedding.

You shouldn't have trouble finding the Pier in St Petersburg, thanks to its downtown location and its renowned status, and parking is available if you are diving. The fees for parking are more than reasonable, even if you drive out onto the pier and opt for valet parking. For those who choose to save a few dollars by parking on the mainland, there is free trolley service between the lot and the pier. There is no fee to access the St Petersburg pier, and you also won't have to pay to enjoy the observation and fishing decks. Donations are always welcome at the onsite aquarium for those who want to make a contribution.
