Busch Gardens Tours

Spending a day at Busch Gardens gives visitors the chance to try the park's array of animal attractions and rides, and exciting opportunities await anyone interested in taking one of the Busch Gardens tours. Each tour at Busch Gardens offers visitors up-close views of the animals and their habitats by guides who share educational information and about the park, and all provide many opportunities for taking photos.

Visitors can experience the feel of Africa on a 30-minute Busch Gardens Safari Tour that takes visitors across the 65-acre Serengeti in an open vehicle to view giraffes and zebras along with other exotic wildlife, including the sleek eland (a type of antelope) and ostrich.

On the Sunrise Busch Gardens Safari Tour, visitors start the morning with a continental breakfast before venturing out for a 30-minute trek across the Serengeti Plain where visitors can hand-feed the giraffes. Children ages 5 and older are permitted on this tour.

The Serengeti Night Safari is for visitors ages 21 and older. This two-hour night tour at Busch Gardens brings visitors onto the Serengeti for an exclusive tour to observe the lions, hippos, zebras, and rhinos once the sun sets over the plains. This Busch Gardens Safari tour begins with appetizers before embarking on the tour and ends with visitors with a nightcap and dessert around a bonfire.

Busch Gardens tours are exciting and provide information on education and conservation. The Saving a Species Tour focuses on learning about endangered animals, habitats, and at-risk species as explained by a wildlife expert. A portion of the tour fee is donated to the Busch Gardens and Sea World Conservation Fund. The two-hour Animal Adventure tour at Busch Gardens is geared toward visitors who are interested in working with animals as a career and gives them the opportunity to observe trainers as they interact with and care for the animals at the park.

Two Busch Gardens tours providing extended times to tour the park. The five-hour Guided Adventure Tour includes park activities such as rides, shows, dining, and the Serengeti Safari tour. In addition, the seven-hour Elite Adventure Tour begins in the morning with a personal guide who helps map out a custom tour that includes rides, shows, and the Serengeti Safari. The tour ends with a meal at the Crown Colony Restaurant.

Visiting Busch Gardens and its sister park, Adventure Island, is an unforgettable part of a Tampa vacation, and travelers of all ages are sure to find plenty of attractions to interest them at either of these locations.
